Research Proposal on Peer Tutoring Essay Example

Research Proposal on Peer Tutoring Essay Peer tutoring is the process of education characterized by the fact that the teacher of the tutee is his classmate or merely the person of the same age and social status. Peer tutoring is a favorite tradition practiced in the USA, Great Britain, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Smart students are involved in the teaching process and share their knowledge with their contemporaries trying to improve the current progress of the latter. The system of peer tutoring is straightforward. If the student has imperfect knowledge of the individual subject or topic, he can receive the constructive advice from the peer tutor. The tutors are most often the volunteers who not just help their mates with the solution of their educational problems, but gain experience and numerous communication and professional skills which can help in the process of teaching. It is natural that the tutor improves his knowledge repeating the information several times to the tutee. Peer tutors are not always the classmates of tutees; they both can be from different classes and can have a year or two age difference. The majority of tutors do not receive money reward from their tutees, being volunteers. Peer tutoring develops student’s responsibility, communicative and behavioral skills and prepares them for the grownup life. The job is even more useful for the students who are going to build an academic career and teach students in future. The dominant positive side of this type of tutoring is the selective approach towards studying because the relation between two contemporaries differs from the ones between the student and the grownup teacher. The student can teach the contemporary in the informal way which is not accepted by the grownup professor. Word Choice Rational vs. Rationale - Writing Tips from Proofed

Word Choice Rational vs. Rationale - Writing Tips from Proofed Word Choice: Rational vs. Rationale The words â€Å"rational† and â€Å"rationale† are very easy to mix up. After all, they sound similar and look similar written down. In addition, these words are not hugely common, so you may not be familiar with how they are used. But there is a difference! Let us explain. Rational (Logical or Reasonable) The adjective â€Å"rational† typically means â€Å"logical† or â€Å"reasonable.† We would use it like this: I did research so I could make a rational choice about where to study. It can also mean â€Å"capable of exercising reason,† such as in the following: A rational thinker will always seek other opinions before making a decision. In both of these cases, â€Å"rational† is related to the idea of acting based on reason rather than emotion. The adverbial form of this word is â€Å"rationally,† and the opposite of â€Å"rational† is â€Å"irrational.† â€Å"Rational† also has a very specific meaning in mathematics, where it refers to a number that can be written as a fraction. However, you will only need to know this if you’re studying math! Some rational numbers between 0 and 1. Rationale (A Reason for Doing Something) A â€Å"rationale† is a reason for doing something. It would be used in a sentence like this: The policy was based on an economic rationale. Here, for instance, the term â€Å"economic rationale† refers to using economic factors to explain an action. You might also be asked to write a research rationale for an academic paper. Importantly, this term is a noun (i.e., a naming word). This makes it very distinct from â€Å"rational.† Rational or Rationale? To avoid errors in your writing, remember that â€Å"rational† is an adjective and â€Å"rationale† is a noun. Thus, if you need a descriptive term, it will be â€Å"rational.† If you need a noun, on the other hand, it will be â€Å"rationale.† Rational (adjective) = Reasonable or based on clear thinking Rationale (noun) = A reason for doing something

Jones v. Clear Creek ISD (1992)

Jones v. Clear Creek ISD (1992) If government officials do not have the authority to write prayers for public school students or even to encourage and endorse prayers, can they allow the students themselves vote on whether or not to have one of their own recite prayers during school? Some Christians tried this method of getting official prayers into public schools, and the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that its constitutional for students to vote on having prayers during graduation ceremonies. Background Information The Clear Creek Independent School District passed a resolution allowing high school seniors to vote for student volunteers to deliver nonsectarian, non-proselytizing religious invocations at their graduation ceremonies. The policy allowed but did not require, such a prayer, ultimately leaving it to the senior class to decide by majority vote. The resolution also called for the school officials to review the statement before presentation to ensure that it was indeed nonsectarian and non-proselytizing. Court Decision The Fifth Circuit Court applied the three prongs of the Lemon test and found that: The Resolution has a secular purpose of solemnization, that the Resolutions primary effect is to impress upon graduation attendees the profound social significance of the occasion rather than advance or endorse religion, and that Clear Creek does not excessively entangle itself with religion by proscribing sectarianism and proselytization without prescribing any form of invocation. What is odd is that, in the decision, the Court admits that the practical result will be exactly what the Lee v. Weisman decision did not permit: ...the practical result of this decision, viewed in light of Lee , is that a majority of students can do what the State acting on its own cannot do to incorporate prayer in public high school graduation ceremonies. Usually, lower courts avoid contradicting higher court rulings because they are obligated to adhere to precedent except when radically different facts or circumstances force them to reconsider previous rulings. Here, though, the court didnt provide any justification for effectively reversing principle established by the Supreme Court. Significance This decision seems to contradict to the decision in Lee v. Weisman, and indeed the Supreme Court ordered the Fifth Circuit Court to review its decision in light of Lee. But the Court ended up standing by its original judgment. Some things are not explained in this decision, however. For example, why is prayer in particular singled out as a form of solemnizing, and it is just a coincidence that a Christian form of solemnization is picked? It would be easier to defend the law as secular if it only called for solemnization generally while singling out prayer alone at the very least serves to reinforce the privileged status of Christian practices. Why is such a thing put up to a student vote when exactly that is least likely to take into account the needs of minority students? The law presumes that its legitimate for a majority of students to vote to do something at an official school function which the state itself is forbidden from doing. And why is the government permitted to decide for others what does and does not qualify as permitted prayer? By stepping in and asserting authority over what sorts of prayer are permitted, the state is in effect endorsing any prayers which are delivered, and thats precisely what the Supreme Court has found to be unconstitutional. It was because of that last point that the Ninth Circuit Court came to a different conclusion in Cole v. Oroville.

The Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals Essay Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 500 words

The Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals - Essay Example 34). To the extent that drugs are used to treat individuals to get better, it would contradict the health practitioners’ code of ethics to prepare the individual for death. Further, this case is strengthened by the reality a case for execution cannot be substantiated after realization of insanity while in prison. The initial crime committed by Singleton is supposed to take charge in this case and he should be given the antipsychotic drugs ready for execution. The essential claim premise would dictate that the claims of such an argument be supported by a plausible claim within the rubric of written laws. The claim made on the execution of Singleton is strictly supported by the written laws in the constitution (LaFave, & LaFave, 2006, p. 91). Given the fact that he committed the crime insane conditions, he is presumed to have had full knowledge of the implications of his actions at the time. In this perspective, a case for insanity that happened thereafter cannot be used to reverse a stipulated law to relinquish the previous charges. Singleton should be restored to his sane sense to realize the events of the proceedings to his execution. From the fact that the law recognizes equity to all citizens, pardoning Singleton overruns the rights of the innocent individual whose life was cut short by S ingleton’s action. Actually, Singleton did not consider his actions even when he was sane, and a medical antipsychotic would only restore his senses to understand the charges as he faces the consequences of his actions. An objection to the above argument would be based on the health practitioner’s duty to protect life. Given that the intentions of any actions dictate whether the deed is good or bad, it would be plausible to assume that treating Singleton with the intention of execution after recovery is bad. Medicine should be administered with the sole intentions of getting individuals better and relieving them of pain to realize better lives. Further, it is

The retail environment also introduces the gain agreement, promotion and securing preferred product placement, re-merchandising, place signage, and generating awareness with the customers prior launching the promotion (Carter & Evans, 2006). 2.1 Specific market level and retailer merchandising functions At the traffic building level for the marketing processes. The goal can be acco mplished through education, promotion, and execution. 4.0

Marketing Considerations and Plans Essay Example for Free

Marketing Considerations and Plans Essay McDonald is one of the most internationally recognizable companies within the hospitality industry. Although I have not worked with McDonald ever, I am quite familiar with it as one of closest friends has been working with the marketing team of this restaurant chain for last four years. He keeps telling me about his company, how it runs its business so that it can maintain its top position within the fast food sector world wide. Apart from listening to my friend about his company, I also do research on McDonald by reading stories relating to McDonald published in various magazines, newspapers and on various websites as I am a fond of McDonald food staffs and love this fast food restaurant chain. McDonald Corporation listed in New York stock exchange has emerged as one of the world’s largest chain of fast food restaurants. It is most popular for its hamburger. Its customer base is so huge that worldwide it sells its products to around 47 million people on daily basis. The menu of McDonalds includes various sorts of burgers like hamburgers, cheese burgers etc. , products made of chicken, different sorts of breakfast items, French fries, various kinds of shakes, desserts and soft drinks. Mcdonald’s, however, quite often gets criticized over the healthiness of its products. These products are considered to be one of the important factors which are taking active part in increasing obesity in the western countries. The company, however, has made some effective measures in response to the rising obesity trend in the western countries and the criticism over the healthiness of its signature products. It has made some modifications to its menu by introducing several healthy food items like different types of salads, wraps and fruits. In spite of getting criticized over the healthiness of its products and having increasing competition within the industry, McDonald has been able to maintain its strong position within the industry it operates in. Its popularity has not decreased. Thus it would be quite interesting to look at the sources of its competitive advantage which have helped it to win the competition. In order to examine the sources of competitive advantage of McDonald, the strengths of the company will be analyzed in detail as strength of any company can be defined as a distinctive competence of the firm that gives it a competitive advantage in the market place. A firm can gain its strength from its financial resources, the image of its brand, leadership quality within the market and buyer-supplier relationships. (Competitive advantage, 2010; Ghosh, et al. n. d) In case of McDonald’s, its biggest strength is its brand image. Since McDonald’s is one of the most known chains of fast food in the world, its brand recognition seems to be its biggest strength. Its marketing campaign always focuses on brand recognition through continuous promotion of the brand name. Through its extensive marketing campaign world wide the company has been able to create an image in the people’s minds and introduce them to the fast food culture. Its customer base ranges from kinds to old generation. It has nearly 30,000 branches in as many as 120 nations across the world. However, 80 percent of its revenues are generated from the market of eight countries including US, UK, Japan, Australia, Canada, France, Brazil and Germany. The company has been able to expand its stores on the basis of three core strengths- cleanliness, delivery speed and customer care. McDonald has created a corporate symbol and through its highly successful marketing campaigns all round the world it has been able to develop a brand image and establish its logo in the minds of the people across the world. People are attracted to this logo and brand image and this attraction brings them to the stores. Although a number of competitors have emerged in the fast food industry, its rigorous marketing campaigns which are based on the company’s internal resources, external conditions and its relations with its shareholders have been able to strongly maintain its brand value in the market. (Ghosh, et al. n. d; Vijayarani, n. d. ) The brand name will not work in longer run unless brand value is mixed up with high quality product value. In order to obtain and maintain a strong position in the market, every company needs to use an appropriate marketing mix and product occupies one of the most significant positions within the marketing mix. Product value has been one of the greatest strengths of McDonald’s. When a customer enters into a McDonald’s store he/she know what to expect. The company places huge importance on its human resource and takes appropriate steps to satisfy it customers as well as its employees. As far as the product related issue is concerned, the company is also found to be quite innovative in introducing new products according to changing trends and tastes of the people. Not only that, it also offers different menu to the people living in different countries according to their tastes and the country’s culture. Fro example, in India it offers a menu which is completely different from its international offerings. In the stores situated in India, it has eliminated ham, mutton and beef burgers from the menu. India is found to be the only country where McDonald offers vegetarian menu. Which is more interesting is sauces, cheese etc, are also completely vegetarian in India. In India according to changing taste and preference of the customers, it has introduced Chicken Maharaja Mac. Thus the biggest strength of McDonald lies in the fact that it brings an internationally reputed brand with high class food quality and brilliant customer specific product features. This strength provides the company with huge competitive advantage. Vijayarani, n. d. ; Ghosh, et al. n. d) Till now only the sources of competitive advantages of McDonald have been discussed. But in order to survive amidst strong competition a company has to possess sustainable competitive advantages. Hence, it is now the time to look into sustainable competitive advantages of McDonald’s. For a company, its sustainable competitive advantage can be defined as the advantage which seems to be difficult or unfeasible for other co mpanies to own or infiltrate. The brand value, cost structure, vibrant customer care or its patent can be considered as sustainable competitive advantages for a company. An advantage should be considered as sustainable advantage only if the advantage has a distinct character or it is proprietary in nature. The sources of sustainable competitive advantages for McDonald’s can be as follows: ( Reidenbach and Goeke, 2006; Vijayarani, n. d) In order to build sustainable competitive advantage there should be a good integration and coordination between the company’s managerial and organizational process. If such integration takes place then there would be created the essential value as everyone will be chasing a common goal. In order to develop sustainable competitive advantage an organization is required to learn and introduce changes according to the need of the time and it should always be flexible towards changes that takes place in the external environment of the company, such as changes in customer’s taste and preferences, changes in government or legal restrictions, and development in the areas of technology. For McDonald’s, one of the principal reason behind surviving within current market competition is that the company is placing its focus on sustainable competitive advantages by making efforts to integrate organizational behavior with managerial expertise. McDonald’s, however, did not recognize the need of building sustainable competitive advantage previously. Earlier McDonald’s used to ignore this advantage as it was more interested in expanding its outlets across the globe than focusing on its core advantages. As a result of it, the company did not experience any massive change in its revenues with opening up of new outlets. In fact, it suffered huge loss unless it recognized the importance of building sustainable competitive advantage. The company was right in detecting the need of the hour and bringing about changes in its management process in order to possess completive edge over its competitors. ( Lamb et al. 2008; Levy and Weitz, 2001) A company can obtain an excellent position in the market through its financial, structural, and technological assets. All these assets significantly help in building sustainable competitive advantage for an organization. McDonald’s has been able to obtain a strong position in the market by its abundant financial resources along with plentiful structural and technological assets. Since 2003, the company has started to concentrate on identifying and implementing these assets in right direction that would bring improvement to the company. Thus these assets build one of the greatest advantages for the company. (Lamb et al. 2008; Levy and Weitz, 2001) Apart from all these, the vision and mission with which the company started its journey can be considered as one of the biggest competitive advantage fro McDonald’s. McDonald’s ability to sustain its dream over the years has provided it with a huge competitive advantage over its competitors. When a brand revolves around its vision in order to sustain and work in lieu with it, this results in developing significant sustainable competitive advantage for the brand. The McDonald’s started its business in order to help those people who did not have much time to cook or were too busy to go to an appropriate restaurant. The vision of McDonald’s was to offer quick service, and high quality food staffs at cheap rate. Over the years the company has been able to sustain this vision. Lamb et al. 2008; Levy and Weitz, 2001) Thus to sum it up it can be said that McDonald’s has been able to implement its best value based strategy by utilizing all its advantages which are unique to it and can not be copied by any of its competitors and thus it has build its competitive advantages which the company has been able to sustain over the years.

Jeffery Dahmer Essay -- essays research papers

The serial killer that I chose to profile is Jeffery Dahmer. Dahmer brings both horrifying, yet amazing qualities to the table in the respect that he terrorized people, not only those that were his victims, but also people that lived both near and those around the country. Section I: Overview - Jeffery Dahmer - Born on May 21, 1960, at Evangelical Hospital in Milwaukee, Wisconsin - Jeffery Dahmer was found beaten by fellow inmates on the morning of November 28, 1994, as was pronounced dead at 9:11 a.m. - Was given life imprisonment on 15 counts of murder committed in Wisconsin and one committed in Ohio, for which he was tried separately. He was sentenced to fifteen consecutive life terms for a total of 957 years in prison. - Jeffery Dahmer was always seen as very shy and isolated at an early age. Dahmer had fantasies about killing men and having sex with the corpses. Despite the early tendencies of his childhood, Dahmer didn’t act on any of these sexual fantasies until after he had graduated from highschool in June of 1978. Dahmer picked up a hitchhiker by the name of Steven Hicks, and eventually Hicks would be the first victim of Dahmer. Dahmer then enrolled at Ohio State University, only to flunk out within one semester. Next, Dahmer joined the army at the end of 1978, but was discharged for alcoholism and went to live in Florida before returning to Ohio. Dahmer was then arrested in October of 1981 for drunken and disorderly conduct, so his father sent him to live with his grandmother in West Allis, Wisconsin. Dahmer had a couple of sexual legal incidents, then kept cool for about four years. In 1987, Dahmer killed his second victim, Steven Toumi, and would go on a ravenous murder spree after that. - Victims were mainly homosexual men, mostly African-American - Dahmer was active from June 1978 to July 22, 1991 Section II: Childhood Dahmer was born on May 21, 1960, to Lionel and Joyce Dahmer. Dahmer was wanted and loved despite Joyce’s problems in pregnancy. Dahmer was a normal, healthy child that showed no signs of mental problems. When Dahmer was four, Lionel was sweeping under the house for small animals that had been killed by civets. As Lionel gathered the bones Dahmer was fascinated with the bones of the dead animals. When Dahmer was six, he suffered from a double hernia and needed surgery to correct the problem. After the surgery, Dahm... ...s of animals to the sexual, as well as violent fantasies, that led to the spree of killings that he committed. I think that Dahmer had a very big problem with the isolation that he faced at an early age in life. Dahmer saw that his parents were never happy, and maybe that’s why he had homosexual tendencies. Dahmer was continuously consumed with necrophilia, which is the fetish with the dead. He not only collected the bodies of dead animals at an early age, but also he had fantasies about killing people and then having sex with the corpses. I think that you have to put Jeffery Dahmer in a class all his own, because of the fascination that he had with the corpses, and the power that they gave him once he had killed them. A lot of serial killers were more worried about what would happen to them, and they would get rid of the bodies of the people that they had just killed. Dahmer used his own body as a temple to take control of the lives of the victims that he had. Dahmer was very remorseful for the crimes that he had committed, and was very cooperative with the authorities and with the families of his victims. This is not usually seen as a common attribute among serial killers today. Jeffery Dahmer Essay -- essays research papers The serial killer that I chose to profile is Jeffery Dahmer. Exercise Research Paper Essay

Exercise is a very important part of a person’s lifestyle. It effects vary from your physical appearance, your body type, to your relationship with nutrition, your cholesterol, hypertension, heart diseases, and your immune system. The type of exercise that is done affects what part of your body that you exercise, and the duration as well as if it is done in the correct sequence varies the results. In the human body there are three muscle groups. The smooth muscle covers organs such as the spleen, liver, etc. The cardiac muscles are the muscles within your heart. The skeletal muscles are the muscles that allow for movement. There are many different exercises that can be done, each one working out something different in the body. All exercises should be comprised of a warm up period, a comprehensive exercise period (main workout), and a cool down period. The warm up should consist of 5-10 minutes of a mixture of stretching and low cardio exercise. For the comprehensive exercise period there should be about an hour of more intense cardio followed by if wanted a 30 minute weight training period. Finally there should be a 5-10 minute cool down period consisting of light cardio followed by stretching. The length of your exercise routine creates the type of workout you receive. A longer work makes you tired, when you are tired your muscles have to work harder and that is when you truly get your workout. There are three body types that humans are classified into. Ectomorph, Mesomorph, and Endomorphs. Each body type is different in structure. Ectomorphs tend to have narrow shoulders, thin narrow faces with high foreheads, thin narrow chests and abdomens, thin arms and legs, and little body fat. Mesomorphs have large heads, broad shoulders, narrow waists, tending to have muscular bodies with strong forearms and thighs. They have very little body fat, and are genetically gifted tending to become body builders. They have long torsos, full chest, and a good shoulder to waist ratio. Endomorphs have wide hips and narrow shoulders (pear shaped), have quite a lot of fat across the body and have slim ankles and wrists. They tend to have a slower metabolism, and weight gain is easy compared to weight loss. They have wide bone structure and tend to store fat that covers muscles. There are many different important aspects that must be paired with exercise to create a better quality of life. One very important aspect is nutrition. The way you eat affects your exercise. If you eat properly you will have more energy to exercise. There also is an important relationship between exercise and your cholesterol. Exercise tends to lower LDL cholesterol, which is your bad cholesterol. It also increases your HDL cholesterol, which is your good cholesterol. Exercise also has a positive relationship with hypertension. Hypertension, or your blood pressure, is lowered by exercise. Exercise also affects your risk at developing heart disease. The more you exercise the less chance of you developing heart disease. Lastly exercise helps to strengthen your immune system, allowing for your body to fight off infections. All in all exercise is a very important part of a person’s lifestyle. When paired with the correct nutrition it can lead very positive effects. It is important to remember that you can change everything about yourself with exercise; it just takes a lot of hard work before you reap in the benefits.

Because of his continued emphasis on the importance of using statistical methods, he is referred to as the â€Å"Father of Modern Statistics†. * Also, he established the Central Commission for Statistics. * Francis Galton (1822-1911) developed the use of percentiles and the correlation method. * Karl Pearson (1857-1936) originated the basic statistical concepts and procedures as standard deviation, the random walk and the chi-squares. * Ronald Aylmer Fisher (1890-1962) contributed in the field of statistics the use of Fisher Test (F-Test), analysis of variance (ANOVA) and covariance in inferential statistics. 20th century * At present, statistics is a reliable means of describing accurately the values of economic, political, social, biological and physical data and serves as tool to analyze such data. Much data can be approximated accurately by certain distributions and the results of probability distributions can be used in analyzing statistical data. Statistics is widely employed in government, business, and the natural and social sciences. Electronic computers have expedited statistical computation, and have allowed statisticians to develop â€Å"computer-intensive† methods.

Tam Narrative Essay Essays

Tam Narrative Essay Essays Tam Narrative Essay Essay Tam Narrative Essay Essay There are a few of those special days which remain evergreen in my heart and that I can remember of. Some events have changed me for better and made me stronger, while others are just there to remember and smile because they have happened at one point in my life. The fact of me coming to America for the first time is such an event. It was the month of April, 2009. Was only twelve years old and didnt really want to come to America, yet had to because my dad was already here. I felt very sad but happy at the same time. I could already imagine how hard things were going to be for me until would finally adapt to the new environment. I was happy because I hadnt seen my dad for a long time and I had missed him a lot. My first year of school in America was the hardest time of my life. Din it know very well English and couldnt express myself by communicating tit others. There were only a few students that were the same nationality as me, yet I wasnt very talkative therefore couldnt make any new friends. Many things and the diversity of the people in America were very interesting yet very strange for me, therefore looked at people and to the things around me in a way that they thought was weird or had staring problems. One time one of my classmates came up to me and asked me in a mean way about why I kept on staring at the students that were in my class including herself. I couldnt really understand what she was saying, but someone else translated it for me. They all thought was racist and had something against other races. After that day, they all started staring at me and making fun of me because I would t talk much and was by myself for most of the time. Finally, time passed and things started to become better for me. Started to speak and understand English better and already had made a few friends. By the time overcame the obstacles that were given to me it was already the mime to graduate my middle school and move on to high school. All these hard times have changed me and made me stronger as a person. As of today, many years have passed and Im already a college student. Thank my parents for always supporting me through everything.

Dryopithecus Facts and Figures

Dryopithecus Facts and Figures Name:  Dryopithecus (Greek for tree ape); pronounced DRY-oh-pith-ECK-us Habitat:  Woodlands of Eurasia and Africa Historical Epoch:  Middle Miocene (15-10 million years ago) Size and Weight:  About four feet long and 25 pounds Diet:  Fruit Distinguishing Characteristics:  Moderate size; long front arms; chimpanzee-like head   About Dryopithecus One of the many prehistoric primates of the Miocene epoch (a close contemporary was Pliopithecus), Dryopithecus was a tree-dwelling ape that originated in eastern Africa about 15 million years ago and then (like its hominid descendants millions of years later) radiated out into Europe and Asia. Dryopithecus was only remotely related to modern humans; this ancient ape had chimpanzee-like limbs and facial features, and it probably alternated between walking on its knuckles and running on its hind legs (especially when it was being chased by predators). On the whole, though, Dryopithecus probably spent most of its time high up in trees, subsisting on fruit (a diet we can infer from its relatively weak cheek teeth, which wouldnt have been able to handle tougher vegetation). The oddest fact about Dryopithecus, and one that has generated much confusion, is that this primate lived mostly in western Europe rather than Africa. Today, Europe isnt exactly known for its monkeys and apes - the only indigenous species is the Barbary macaque, which is barely European, confined as it is to the coast of southern Spain, where it has penetrated from its usual habitat in northern Africa. Its possible, though far from proven, that the true crucible of primate evolution during the later Cenozoic Era was Europe rather than Africa, and that after the diversification of monkeys and apes these primates migrated from Europe and populated (or repopulated) the continents for which theyre best known today, Africa, Asia, and South America.

Future Intelligent Led Policing Model Essay Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 1500 words

Future Intelligent Led Policing Model - Essay Example One such technique would be intelligent led policing, which is mainly associated with the operational strategy of law enforcement. â€Å"Intelligent-led policing is a business model and managerial philosophy where the data analysis and crime intelligence are pivotal to an objective, decision-making framework that facilitates in crime and problem reduction.†(Intelligent led Policing n.d). Thus, the concept of intelligent led policing revolves around the phenomenon of gathering data and using it as a guide operation in drastically reducing the crime even before they arise. Apart from collecting the information about the crimes, fast and efficient analysis accompanied with the appropriate actions has greater potential in controlling the crimes even before they originate. â€Å"Intelligence-led policing is zero tolerance policing but against the right people at the right time for right reasons.† (Stevens 2011). This paper will mainly focus on the positives and negative aspe cts of intelligent led policing on basis of which it can be implemented in future. Based on the ethical and the practical issues surrounding the intelligent led policing, it can be considered as the model for the future policing. Moreover, the collective effort of other agencies plays a vital role in the successful practice of the intelligent led policing. †Police Department need to collaborate with other units and agencies within their cities or countries, such as the parole and probation agencies, which are completely different in scope.† (Joyce 2012). The above can be considered as one of the core concepts where the intelligent led policing differs from the normal stream. One of the highlighted advantages of the model would be the excavating the ways by through which the occurrences of the crimes can be greatly reduced. Thus, it is mainly based on the interpretation, influence, and impact of the data in a criminal environment.
